I was a refugee child during the horrible and terrible Nigerian civil war as I have recalled in my Memories of a Refugee Child, so I can tell you that the worst victims of the civil war in Sudan are the refugees in Darfur. I can relate with them as they endure the stigma and trauma of their predicament. The only people who can give the true account of the horrors and terrors of Darfur are the victims and until the victims tell their own stories as I told mine, then the truth of the wrath of the earth in Darfur would be revealed.
Film director Ted Braun, producer Cathy Schulman and activist Adam Sterling have made Darfur Now and the documentary is worth seeing.
